Ann Nderu
Ann Nderu graduated from the University of Nairobi, School of Law, Parklands Campus in 2005 and proceeded to work as senior level Research Assistant with an independent state commission, Commission of Inquiry into the Post Election Violence popularly known as the Waki Commission. She was admitted to the Bar in the year 2008. She worked at Kairu & McCourt as a Senior Advocate Litigation Department– a successful corporate Law Firm in the city of Nairobi – for a number of years and as an Assistant Corporate Manager with Diamond Trust Bank of Kenya Limited.
She founded Nderu and Ngaruni Advocates in 2013 with the assistance of Counsel Christine Kirimi.
Previous Work
Ann Nderu has been and continues to be on the record in potential locus classicus cases in the area of the Tort of Defamation. She represents Hon. Dr. Bonny Khalwale in a defamation suit filed by Nairobi County former governor Dr. Evans Kidero and also represents renown blogger Cyprian Nyakundi in various Defamation suits such as the one filed by Safaricom Limited, Bob Collymore, National Bank of Kenya, Housing Finance Group Limited among others.
Ann has also overseen constitutional law matters with a precedential value in the areas of Governance, Leadership Ethics and Human Rights. She represented the Late renown Jacob Juma in various constitutional matters against the Nairobi County former governor Dr. Evans Kidero. She also frequently makes appearances before Administrative Tribunals such as the National Land Commission Tribunal. This is besides attending to key litigation in the City’s superior courts.
As an Arbitrator Ann has engaged in various forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution including but not limited to Arbitration as a way of settling disputes out of court thereby presenting an alternative to filing lawsuits by the firms clients.

Christine Kirimi
Christine Kirimi completed her LLB from Moi University, School of Law in 2006 and worked as a legal intern for a while in Mombasa, Kenya. She is also a holder of a graduate degree in Master of Business Administration from United States International University – Kenya. She was admitted to the Bar in 2008. She holds a current practicing certificate from the Law Society of Kenya. She has vast experience in the Corporate and Commercial Section of the Legal Industry having practiced in the aforementioned area for a number of years.

Job Kimeru graduated from Law school with an LLB honors degree in the year 2008 and proceeded to study for postgraduate in the year 2009. In the year 2010, the Advocate undertook his pupillage at the prestigious firm of Kamotho, Maiyo & Mbatia Advocates and was admitted to the Bar in January of the year 2011.
In the years 2011 to 2014, He worked in the renowned firm of Kairu & McCourt Advocate as an Advocate Litigation Department– a successful corporate Law Firm in the city of Nairobi – for the said Four (4) years before leaving the firm and Founding the firm of Job Kimeru Advocates Company. The Advocate is currently pursuing a Master of Law degree (LLM) in Commercial Law From the University of London (Distance learning)
